Traditional M & T panelled or glazed doors are all manufactured using Accoya© as standard to eliminate any fear of seasonal movement whilst offering outstanding durability as well as an extended life cycle.
Thermal Insulated doors are also offered as an alternative and an energy efficient option yet still offer the ability to design to your own specification. All our door sets come complete with 'Winkhaus'© multi-point locking mechanism's, 4 hinges and Deventer weather seals as standard.

Timber Options
Engineered Redwood
Engineered Redwood is assembled using layers of clear Timber finger jointed and tri-laminated to produce a stronger, more stable and knot free product. Engineered Timbers experiences less seasonal movement than solid natural timber. Expansion and contraction, due to moisture contraction is thus reduced. Our Engineered Laminated Redwood comes with a 30 year guarantee protecting against rot and fungal infection.
Accoya®
Accoya® has properties that match or exceed those of the best tropical hardwoods yet is produced using a fast-growing suistainable treated softwood. Accoya® is naturally insulating and one of the most durable commercially available timbers. Due to the acylation process Accoya® will reduce any seasonal movement to a minimum. All of our Accoya® products come with a 50-year guarantee against rot and fungal infection.
Red Grandis
Red Grandis is a high performing South American Hardwood that is ethically sourced from FSC Certified plantations. Red Grandis is a high grade, knot-free, durable and versatile timber that can be painted or stained to the customers desire.

Finishing Options
Douglas & Peters use a water-based application system that allows the timber to ‘breathe’ and adapt to its surroundings. The water-based finish means we reduce harmful emissions and disposal issues unlike solvent based systems.
Teaming up with Symphony Coatings, using Sikkens (Akzo Nobel) we can match any RAL, British Standard, Dulux and Farrow & Ball colours to give the customer an endless choice of colours.
We also have a range of translucent and opaque stain finishes available as well as dual colour option (One finish internally and one finish externally).
