Douglas and Peters are extremely proud to have firstly been nominated and subsequently shortlisted as finalists, at the Rossendale Business of the Year awards, 2020, in the category of ‘large business’. Who knows, we may even win our first business award trophy? Fingers crossed, but just to be nominated alone is a great achievement and shows how our business has progressed on the right trajectory which we will endeavour to continue to do so...
What makes this especially fantastic news is to receive outside recognition from our local authority, after 3 years hard work and dedication from initial start-up of the business at the end of 2017. This year’s challenges including a Global COVID Pandemic’ which has affected all businesses differently. We have managed to cope with all the associated problems brought, raw material shortages, lock downs, isolations to name just a few, and have still been able to operate in a COVID-safe environment allowing us to continue to supply our products into the construction industry.
We would like to thank everyone who voted for us as well as our continued growing customer base, who without we would not be here today, whilst also paying special thanks to our most important commodity, our loyal and trusted staff who have grown with us, adapted with us, and helped develop Douglas & Peters into a major supplier Nationally for the supply of Quality Bespoke Timber windows & door sets and all associated joinery requirements.
